Sale price I am the original designer of this tool. 25 years ago while working as a service technician for a major window and door company I needed a tool to repair and replace the plunger pins on damaged screens on site. I was unable to find a tool so I designed this one. At that time I was unable to manufacture these tools on my own so I hired a local machine shop to manufacture . 25 years later I am now able to manufacture these myself in my shop. This Window Screen Pin Tool ensures that you get a perfect Plunger Latch hole every time. The Jig is designed to accommodate 1/4" to 7/16" (6.3 to 11.1 mm) screen frame. Because it is Delrin acetal homopolymer (Polyoxymethylene POM) is the ideal material in parts designed to replace metal. This material combines low-friction and high-wear resistance; and for this reason it will not scratch the frame. It has a large, comfortable handle, which allows you to hold your frame steady while drilling. The accompanying Step Drill has a stop collar, which assures the correct depth for the Window Screen Pin Tool.
