This original painting is of a narrow dirt path that leads to the end of a bank that drops into the sea. The pretty lavender flowers in the foreground give the painting a nice vibrant feel as the sandy path gives great depth to the painting as it ends where the sea starts. I used hard and soft pastels to create this painting as well as Uart sanded paper which holds the pastel to give many layers of pigment.
