From 2001. Never out of box. Will need new batteries. I would replace them but would have to open box, remove all the ties holding characters in place and remove the plastic they encased in.
I had 4 of these and did that to one set to be sure it worked with new batteries.
Want to sell as unopened. Guaranteed to work or I wouldn't sell.
Box has sone wear from storage.
Very collectible.
