This model features longer ergonomic handles with super comfortable cushion grips. These pliers will gain you access to tighter places than the larger 749 pliers. These pliers should handle stainless steel up to 18awg, if you need Tronex pliers to handle heavier gauge stainless steel, I recommend using the Tronex 749 instead as it will handle stainless steel up to 16awg .
