Midland WR120B NOAA Weather Alert Radio, a device designed to provide real-time weather and emergency alerts. This radio receives NOAA weather alerts and broadcasts for your specific area using S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) digital technology.
It can alert you to over 60 types of weather hazards and emergencies, including tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and more, through an audible siren, LED indicator, and alert message on the LCD display.
Instruction manuals is not included. However, there are several "how-to's" on YouTube, which we used to make sure it is working. Yes, it works fine and sent out an alert for a thunderstorm last week.
