- ✔️This solution strength is identical to those labeled "28% Sodium Chlorite". The highest purity commercially available Sodium Chlorite available is 80% so that it remains chemically stable. When a 28% solution of 80% Sodium Chlorite is dissolved into water it becomes 22.4% Sodium Chlorite and 7.6% Sodium Chloride (salt). Those labeled 28% are actually 22.4% NaClO2 or produce a non-PH neutral solution when activated. For CDS applications, solutions labeled 22.4%, 25%, or 28% are negligibly different (when used with 4-5% HCl).
