This piece is extremely rare and seldom seen on the market, even among vintage Chanel jewelry. Due to its scarcity and highly specific design, it is not a commonly reproduced style, making original examples particularly desirable to collectors. The craftsmanship is notably refined and complex. The camellia petal motif is gold-foil heat stamped, then carefully encased in amber-toned acrylic (lucite) resin. This layered process creates depth and transparency, allowing light to pass through the earrings from the inside out, giving them a warm, noble glow characteristic of high-quality vintage Chanel costume jewelry. I purchased this ear clip from a Vintage shop in Copenhagen. Since it is vintage and has a long history, I don't have the original purchase certificate or invoice from that time.
